The FinTech Festival India Meetup held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center in Delhi saw many dignitaries and volunteers from Delhi and the rest of India. The exclusive ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassador’ Meetup was the day’s highlight. The meetup was one of many happening across India under the banner of ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassador Events’. These meetups aim to gather support and motivate people to join the Viksit Bharat Ambassador movement initiated by PM Narendra Modi. The volunteers of the Viksit Bharat Ambassadors responded enthusiastically to PM Modi’s call to action, asking the nation’s youth to amplify India’s development and resolve to achieve a fully developed India (Viksit Bharat) by 2047.
Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Cabinet Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, graced the event. Diverse delegates from various sectors such as lending, payments, insurance, NBFCs, BFSI, startups, cooperative and neo banks, AI, cybersecurity, e-commerce, retail banking, MSMEs, trade bodies, venture capital, account aggregation, rural financing, banking infrastructure, technology, receivables, exchanges, invoices, and authentication/biometrics were in attendance at the event.
At the FinTech Festival Event, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized that the industry is facilitating transformative changes. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of advancing and building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ for 140 crore citizens, stating that the FinTech sector holds significant importance in realizing this vision.
