Northeast India holds strategic significance, yet past neglect pushed it to the nation’s periphery. Over the last decade, however, the region has witnessed tremendous transformation in terms of progress and peace. This study analyses recent developments and policies that highlight its emerging role in the growth of Viksit Bharat.
