Hitesh is a litigation lawyer with several years of experience in all branches of litigation- civil, criminal, commercial and constitutional matters. He is a Managing Partner at Parinam Law Associates.
Hitesh has represented clients in the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts in India, district courts (civil, criminal and rent act matters), consumer forums, competition commission, TDSAT, etc., and arbitration proceedings both ad hoc arbitration and institutional arbitration such as those conducted under the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, etc. He has led several high-profile litigation matters appearing in the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts throughout India both on the original and appellate side and overseas.
Hitesh was enrolled as an advocate of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in 1995 after completing his LLB from Symbiosis Law College in Pune. In 1996, he attained his LLM in international commercial and corporate laws from the London School of Economics in the UK.
Hitesh has advised clients on a range of contentious issues including international corporate commercial transactions, banking and labour matters. He also has experience with sports law and is advising various sports authorities in India.
He has also been involved with arbitration proceedings in India and abroad.
Hitesh is a visiting faculty member of Government Law College apart from delivering guest lectures at different law schools.
Hitesh has also authored numerous articles for prestigious legal journals including the World Sports Law Journal and for the Competition Commission of India.
Hitesh has participated in international conferences and accompanied various business delegations overseas speaking on various aspects of Indian law and jurisdiction and was also invited to participate in the Indo-British Parliamentary Trust Program in the UK.
